Shipping Policy

We offer FREE Standard Shipping on all merchandise orders that are $100 and over (excluding taxes). Your shipping address must be in Canada. All deliveries are done by Canada Post, Purolator, or UPS.

During Checkout you will see the total price, including taxes, shipping and handling charges, in Canadian dollars before you place your order. Your credit card will be charged in Canadian dollars according to the charges displayed during Checkout. Packages shipped to Canadian addresses do not require a signature for delivery.

The credit card will only be charged once the order is processed and ready for delivery.

Shipping Confirmation

A shipping confirmation with tracking number will be sent via email to the email address provided when the order is placed. Emails will also be sent when the item is out for delivery and delivered.

Out of Stock Items

We will notify you if an item is out of stock and will process a 100% refund for your purchase.

Restricted Hazardous Goods

Some items are considered hazardous materials. These include aerosols and alcohol-based products. They are restricted and required to be shipped by standard, ground-only transportation, due to air transport restrictions and regulations.

Exchange/Returns/Refunds Policy

We are currently accepting returns or exchanges, but this may change. If the item you purchased is defective, please contact us at lsdsalons@gmail.com with details of the product and the defect. You will be responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning items to our warehouse. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

General Return Policy

At Le Salon Dieppe, we want every purchase to meet your expectations. If something doesn’t, we’ll work with you to find a fair solution based on the guidelines below.

General Rules

All items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging to qualify for a refund or exchange.
Returns must be requested within the allowed time frame for each type of purchase (see below).
Refunds are processed only after the returned items are received and inspected.
Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless an error was made on our part.
Items marked final sale are not eligible for return or exchange.

Gently Used Items

Some gently used hair care or esthetic products may qualify for an exchange or store credit within 30 days, at the discretion of our team.
A minimum 20% restocking fee applies.

Appliances

Defective appliances: Exchange only for the same item (if available). If unavailable, a replacement of similar model or value will be offered.
Non-defective appliances:
- In-store purchases: Exchange only.
- Online purchases: Exchange or store credit only, minus a 15% restocking fee.
- No refunds are available for appliances.
Products must include all original packaging, paperwork, and cords in their original condition. Twisted or coiled cords void warranty.

In-Store Purchases

Retail Products

Returns or exchanges must be initiated within 14 days of purchase and will only be accepted if the product is unopened and in resale condition.
If you purchase a product in-store and leave it for pickup, please collect it within 14 days. After this period, unclaimed purchases will be automatically refunded.

Online Orders

Refund Eligibility

Refunds are available within 14 days from delivery to request a refund for unused and unopened products.
Products must be returned in their original packaging and in resalable condition.
Refunds are issued after we receive and inspect your return.

Shipping For Return

Shipping fees are non-refundable.
You are responsible for the cost of return shipping.

💡 For returns over $75, we recommend using a trackable service or shipping insurance, as we can’t guarantee we’ll receive your package otherwise.

Salon & Spa Services

Services are non-refundable.
If you’re not satisfied with your service, please contact us as soon as possible so we can make any necessary adjustments.
If you decide not to proceed with a service before it begins, no charge will apply.

Purchasing, Sending and Receiving Gift Certificates

Gift certificates are void where prohibited or restricted by law.
Gift certificates cannot be used to purchase gift certificates.
Except as provided herein, gift certificates have no cash value.
Gift certificates are not valid until payment has been received and successfully processed by LSD.
LSD reserves the right to refuse service or reverse any gift certificate purchase for any reason and return the funds to the purchaser.

Redeeming Gift Certificates

Gift certificates are only redeemable at LSD for the amount or service specified on the gift certificate, by the expiration date indicated. LSD reserves the right to convert service-based gift certificates to their monetary value, equivalent to what was paid for the gift certificate, at its option and sole discretion.
Except as required by law, gift certificates are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund.
Any unused balance of the gift certificate will remain until redeemed or the original expiration date indicated on the gift certificate, whichever occurs first.
If a purchase exceeds the amount listed on the gift certificate, the redeemer is responsible for paying the difference at time of purchase.
For security purposes, a recipient may be required to show valid ID before he or she can redeem the gift certificate.
Use and redemption of our gift certificates are also governed by our Privacy Policy.
LSD, its agents and vendors, may provide gift certificate purchasers with information about the redemption status of gift certificates.

Cancellation and Expiration of Gift Certificates

LSD reserves the right to immediately invalidate gift certificates, without notice, should it receive a credit card chargeback, returned check or other form of repudiated payment made towards the gift certificate.
LSD is not responsible for lost or stolen gift certificates. Reasonable and prudent steps are taken to verify the legitimacy of a redeemer and upon full redemption or at the expiration date, the gift certificate will be identified as not valid for payment of any kind.
LSD reserves the right to dishonor the gift certificate, if it reasonably believes it was not validly purchased, has already been redeemed, or the redeemer stole or is otherwise not the intended beneficiary of the purchaser.
Gift certificates are not valid or redeemable after the expiration date indicated on the gift certificate.
LSD will replace a valid lost gift certificate, provided the original gift certificate hasn't been redeemed and the replacement is issued to either the original purchaser or a verifiable recipient.
LSD reserves the right to contact gift certificate purchasers, or known recipients, to remind them of upcoming expiration dates.

Miscellaneous Terms and Conditions

LSD reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions from time to time in its sole discretion.
LSD, ITS AGENTS AND AFFILIATES, MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO GIFT CERTIFICATES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN THE EVENT A GIFT CERTIFICATE NUMBER OR BAR CODE IS NON-FUNCTIONAL, YOUR SOLE REMEDY, AND LSD'S SOLE LIABILITY, SHALL BE THE REPLACEMENT OF SUCH GIFT CERTIFICATE.
Gift certificates, and these Terms and Conditions, are subject to and governed by the laws of New Brunswick, without reference to its principles of conflicts of law.
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions should, for any reason, be held invalid, prohibited by law or unenforceable in any respect, such term will not apply. However, the remainder of these Terms and Conditions shall be enforced to the full extent permitted by law. A court of competent jurisdiction is hereby empowered to modify the invalid, prohibited or unenforceable provision to make it valid and enforceable.
Risk of loss will pass to the purchaser of the gift certificate upon the electronic transmission of such gift certificate to the recipient or purchaser.
