Le Salon Dieppe COVID Operational Plan for Clients

We're thankful to be open. 89 days of of mandatory closure in 2020 is rough. Thank you for the support you’ve shown us and our team during this time.

To operate safely in the new normal we are required to operate under updated regulations and practices. Please find those below.


Surfaces, appliances, tools, and implements are cleaned with hospital grade, government approved disinfectants between every client.


We will keep track of clients visit days and times in our effort to be ready to provide rapid contact tracing options if necessary to help keep clients safe and informed.


We have removed walk-in appointments from our offerings. Please call or book in advance.


We all know this one.


We have removed our waiting area. Hand sanitizer is available for use at the entrance. Upon entering the actual salon, we'll ask that you wash your hands with soap and water regardless of the service you will be receiving, as we've been told it is a very effective defense in keeping us all safe. We ask that you arrive 5 mins before your appointment. Please stay in your car and call us when you arrive as the doors are locked at all times.


Please do not attempt to make or attend an appointment if you feel unwell. We cannot allow you on site if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms:

• Fever above 38 degrees Celsius

• New cough, or worsening chronic cough

• Sore throat

• Runny nose

• Headache

• New onset of fatigue

• Unexplained new onset of muscle pain

• Diarrhea

• Loss of sense of taste or smell

• In children, purple markings on the fingers and toes

• Anyone having traveled outside of NB within the 14days before their appointment.

We understand some people have allergies or chronic conditions this time of year. We will not prevent people with allergies or chronic conditions to enter, but please let us know. Displaying one or more of these symptoms upon arrival or during service will result in you being asked to pay for 100% of the services booked and an additional 5$ sanitation fee. Please let us know of any chronic ticks or conditions in advance.

Due to current regulations - Only one guest per appointment booked. Exceptions for those under 16 or requiring assistance. Masks that cover the nose and mouth must be worn at all times with the salon|spa.


Cosmetologists will wear a combination of masks, disposable gloves, face shields or lab coats for many services.

Clients must wear masks with elastic bands that wrap around the ears and covers the nose. Most clients bring their own. Masks are available if need be or one breaks. Separations have been added where distancing is not possible. Clients and cosmetologists should practice social distancing as much as possible.


We can allow 2 retail clients at a time into our retail boutique and provide hand sanitizer. For questions or advice on beauty products, a team member will make themselves available to offer assistance. Personalized online chat assistance is available as well with one of our team for any question about services and salon beauty products. When possible we encourage clients to shop online at and opt for curbside pickup or delivery.


Washrooms are available. Please keep mask on while in washrooms. Please ensure a cosmetologist is aware when you are done for so sanitation can be done. CLIENTS ARRIVING LATE: We work to keep appointments on time. Arriving more than five minutes late will create delays with sanitation and set up for the next client. As a result service expectations may not be fulfilled, delays exceeding 5 minutes may require cancellation or request for payment of partial payment depending on service.


An average of 10 hours/week are lost to clients who book and then do not cancel or show up for appointments. We have updated our booking policies for both phone and online. 50% fee to cancel within 2 hours if we can't re-book your slot at our regular prices, and a 100% no show fee for clients who book appointments but cancel in advance or don't show up at all.

We have eliminated pre-covid policy of cancellation fees with less than 24hours notice.

Contactless Payments: Clients have the option of a contactless checkout experience. Set up during online booking or upon request, options to pay virtually can be set up. Online Bookings and (possibly in the near future) By-Phone Clients will be sent a secured SSL encrypted link where they will be able to add CC details

If a CC is not option, for certain service clients may be asked to send a refundable 50% deposit for services.

BAR: 🍷 Please note that we will temporarily not be serving any refreshments. This will change as government restrictions are updated.
